The Loxahatchee Club Tradition
“The Caddie is the lifeblood of the game of golf…a great companion, a friendly conversationalist and a smiling face. This is what the game of golf is all about.”
Charles “Chick” Evans, Jr.
The game of golf is rich with history and tradition, and the Members of The Loxahatchee Club believe caddies are an integral part of the great game of golf. Jack Nicklaus designed the course with the walking golfer in mind, and the caddie program has thrived since the course opening in 1985.
Our Caddie Master has recruited over 50 professional caddies from the finest courses in the country, including Winged Foot Golf Club, Westchester Country Club, and Muirfield Village to be of service to our members during the peak playing months. The long term support of the membership has made it possible for the Club to provide its Members with one of the finest Caddie Programs in the country. The Loxahatchee Club Caddie Program has been recognized in the Top 50 Worldwide by Links Magazine.
The full support of the Membership is vital to the success of any Caddie Program, and The Loxahatchee Club Members have fully embraced theirs, with over 70 percent of rounds played in season accompanied by a walking caddie. The Caddie Program serves to enhance the experience of Members and their guests, while at the same time helping reduce the amount of cart traffic on the course, thereby preserving the superb playing conditions. The Loxahatchee Club takes great pride in the wonderful conditioning of the golf course, as well as the Member support of the Caddie Program.
